Change, a must to turn things around for the best.
A popular question most people ask themselves is “can I ever experience a change in profit from little or no profit to a stunning profit”?
As we all know that change is the only constant thing in life and it is possible only if you want it badly enough. The founder of Federal Express, Fred Smith observed: and I quote ‘You are the way you are, because that’s the way you want to be. If you really wanted to be any different, you’d be in the process of changing right now.’ One thing I will reiterate is, change is never easy. Change requires a lot of time, a tremendous amounts of energy, your perseverance, and the key thing your desire. Your desire to change must translate into a decision to change. And your decision to change is a daily thing you must observe.
It’s said that Earl Weaver, manager of the Baltimore Orioles baseball team, was unhappy with a decision by the umpire so he charged out of the dugout and yelled at him, ‘Are you gonna get any better, or is this it?’ If you want to change, this is a similar question you need to ask yourself. Are you going to keep working and trying to get better, or is this as good as it gets? Commitment and persistence are what it takes to change your life and your business.
